Bennett R. Gallina, Senior Vice President, China, Western Europe, the Middle East and Africa, has full profit-and-loss responsibility for Avon’s operations in all those regions.
A 28-year veteran of Avon, Mr. Gallina is one of Avon’s most seasoned international executives. Previously, Mr. Gallina was Senior Vice President and President, Asia Pacific, and had full profit-and-loss responsibility for Avon’s operations in a vast region that includes China, Japan, the Philippines, Australia, Taiwan and South Korea.
From 2000 to 2004, Mr. Gallina was Senior Vice President, Global Operations, responsible for aligning customer service, manufacturing and supply chain. In this role, Mr. Gallina also led the global business transformation area, addressing process enhancements in the marketing and supply chain areas
From 1998 to 2000, Mr. Gallina served as President of Avon Canada, where his he modernized Avon’s Canadian operations through a redesign of the operation’s business processes and by leveraging technology. From 1996 to 1998, he served as Group Vice President, Finance, North America.
Mr. Gallina joined Avon in 1977 in the finance division. He held numerous senior level financial positions including U.S. Controller and then Vice President, Finance, U.S. with later additional responsibilities for Canada and Puerto Rico.
