Barry Gutwillig is vice president of strategic partnerships and initiatives at AMICAS. His current primary responsibilities include expanding AMICAS' direct and indirect distribution channels, an area of strategic focus for AMICAS, as well as launching AMICAS' innovative RadStream technology.
Mr. Gutwillig is a co-founder of the AMICAS PACS business segment and was instrumental in guiding the company to profitable growth in the areas of product management, business development, marketing, and sales
His healthcare career began in 1991 at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), where he served in multiple roles within the Department of Radiology. While at MGH, he lead multiple projects, from collaboration with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and device manufacturers to the development and running of service businesses such as teleradiology, global telemedicine, partnering, and, ultimately, building free-standing imaging centers.
