Perry joined Engelhard Corporation, a surface and materials science company, in 1993 as Group Vice President and General Manager of the Pigments and Additives Group. In January 1997, he was named President and Chief Operating Officer and elected as a Director of the corporation. He served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer from January 2001 to July 2006.
Before joining Engelhard, Perry was Vice President and General Manager of the Latex and Specialty Polymers Division of Rhone-Poulenc. He also held a number of executive positions during his 22 years with General Electric Co.
Perry holds a bachelor's degree in plastics engineering from the University of Massachusetts. In addition to Arrow, he also serves on the Board of Directors of Cookson Group plc. |
