Barney Rush has been CEO of H2Gen since July, 2003. Previously, Mr. Rush was CEO of Mirant Europe, a subsidiary of Mirant Corporation, an electric power generator and energy marketer. While in Europe, Mr. Rush served as Chairman of the Board of two Mirant affiliates: Bewag, the integrated utility serving Berlin, Germany, and WPD, a UK electric distribution company. Previous to his positions with Mirant, Mr. Rush was executive vice president of Oxbow Power Corporation, where he was responsible for acquisition, development and financing of gas fired and eothermal power projects in the US and internationally. Earlier, he was a Senior Vice President at Lehman Brothers in the project finance, utility, and telecommunications group. Barney Rush holds an M.A. in Public Affairs from the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University and a B.A. from Harvard College. |
