Barbara Kott is a Managing Director in Major, Lindsey & Africa’s San Francisco office. Barbara’s practice focuses on law firm associate placements and selected in-house counsel positions.
Prior to Barbara’s legal recruiting career, she practiced corporate law for five years at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in their Palo Alto and San Francisco offices. While practicing, Barbara represented clients in a wide variety of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, asset sales, public equity offerings and private placement transactions. She also advised both public and private clients on general corporate and compliance matters. In addition to her corporate clients, Barbara also represented several venture capital and investment banking firms.
Barbara earned her J.D. from Loyola Law School in 2001, where she served as chief note and comment editor of the Loyola Law Review and was a member of the St. Thomas More Law Honor Society. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from UCLA.
Barbara is involved in certain non-profit organizations in the bay area and loves to play golf in her spare time. |
