Barbara, the founder of BG Search Associates, has many years of legal recruiting experience and is a member of NALSC (National Association of Legal Search Consultants) and the LES (Licensing Executive Society). She also currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Georgia Women’s Business Enterprise Council and the Governing Board of the Women’s Enterprise Business National Council’s Forum where she is an active member of the Global Business Committee and the China Tiger Team. Barbara holds degrees in both mathematics and physics and was a physics instructor at Temple University and a physicist with the Naval Weapons Laboratory in Dahlgren, Virginia. Prior to becoming a legal recruiter, Barbara was recruiter in the IT and Telecom industry. Barbara is a graduate of the Tuck-WBENC Executive Program Sponsored by IBM, and the Fasttrac Business Development Program where she was sponsored by The Home Depot. Barbara has expertise in international attorney recruiting and has been successful placing attorneys at all levels in Asia, South America and Europe. With nearly 20 years of legal recruiting experience, Barbara has a unique ability to understand how to find an attorney who will successfully meet the client’s needs both from experience and cultural standpoints and is committed to presenting a diverse candidate pool for every position. Barbara has been instrumental in growing the legal departments of many Fortune 100 corporations nationwide. Barbara is originally from New York City and has lived in Atlanta for 20 years.
