As the Vice President of Donor Development, Barbara leads the donor and business association development activities, working with companies and business associations to design new product philanthropy programs. She’s been with Gifts In Kind since 1996 and previously managed human resources, customer service and nonprofit development. Barbara has designed curriculum and provided training on topics such as establishing effective Gifts In Kind programs and designing an effective communication and promotions strategy for Gifts In Kind managers.
Previously she was a director of professional development at United Way of America. Barbara was a guest speaker and trainer on the topic of career development and job search. She also managed training curriculums for the United Ways’ national training academy. She has worked in the nonprofit sector for 22 years and graduated with honors from The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. |
