Baran Tekkora is a Principal of Riverstone Holdings focused on investment opportunities in the energy and power industry. He is based in New York.
Prior to joining Riverstone in September 2005, Mr. Tekkora was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs in the Natural Resources Group. Mr. Tekkora joined Goldman Sachs in 1996 and focused on all segments of the energy and power industry. Mr. Tekkora's responsibilities included client coverage and leading the execution of a wide variety of M&A, strategic advisory and capital markets financings for clients across all sectors of the energy industry. While at Goldman Sachs, Mr. Tekkora served as sector captain for the midstream/infrastructure segment. He also spent a year in London, focused on Industrial and Natural Resources clients in Europe.
