Kumar brings more than 17 years of leadership in the telecommunications industry to Mavenir after most recently serving as vice president of softswitch solutions engineering within Tekelec‘s switching business unit.In this role, he was responsible for several of the company’s major solutions and also managed product strategy and architecture, product delivery planning and execution, product development, product and solutions testing, global product support, and field trials. Kumar was responsible for engineering and development organization for VocalData until it was acquired by Tekelec. Kumar’s career began with Lucent Technologies, where he worked in various functions such as development, testing and architecture, and he also managed various groups that provided Signaling/OAM&P/Call Control capabilities for next generation network products and the soft switching solution. |
