Avraham Fischer has been a member of the board of directors since April 1996. Mr. Fischer is the managing partner in the law firm of Fischer, Behar, Chen & Co., of Tel Aviv Israel where he has served since 1982. Mr. Fischer is Deputy Chairman of IDB Holding Corporation Ltd., and Co-CEO of Clal Industries and Investments Ltd. Mr. Fischer is also the Co-Founder and Vice-Chairman of Ganden Holdings Ltd. and a Co-Founder and Co-Chairman of Ganden Tourism and Aviation Ltd. Mr. Fischer is a member of the board of directors of IDB Holding Corporation Ltd., IDB Development Corporation Ltd., Discount Investments Company Ltd., Clal Industries and Investments Ltd., Scitex Corporations Ltd., Natour - - Travel Agents Association for Organized Tours Ltd., Elbit Systems Ltd., Elron Electronic Industry Ltd. and other privately held corporations. Mr. Fischer is one of the founders and a board member of Matan, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting programs that improve the conditions and prospects of people in need. From 1996 until November 1999, he served as a director of DSP Communications. Mr. Fischer earned his degree in law from Tel Aviv University, where he later served as a lecturer for seven years. Mr. Fischer is a Lieutenant Colonel (Res.) in the Israel Defense Forces. |
