Avi Elbaum joined Syneron in 2006 as Controller for Syneron North America. In September 2007 Avi was appointed VP for Global Human Resources. Avi brings to Syneron broad managerial experience having served in a variety of senior financial and operational roles prior to joining Syneron. Avi served five years as VP Finance and Operations for the medical technology company MTRE Advanced Technologies Ltd. which developed medical thermo-regulation equipment and two years as the Manager of Budget and Control Department for Strauss Fresh Food Ltd. Also in the medical technology field Avi worked for Elscint Ltd. where he held three managerial positions: Manager of the Finance Department Operations Manager for the Production Division and Business Development Manager for the MRI Division. Avi received a MBA from the Executive MBA Program at Tel Aviv University a Masters Degree in Philosophy from Tel Aviv University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Management from the Technion.
