Ashton J. Delauney joined Kenyon & Kenyon as an associate in 2006, having previously worked at Cooper & Dunham, LLP in New York. Dr. Delauney has significant experience in a variety of patent-related matters, particularly the preparation and prosecution of U.S. and PCT international patent applications in the areas of molecular biology and biotechnology, patentability searches, development of patent portfolios, and client counseling. Prior to embarking on a legal career, Dr. Delauney was a Senior Lecturer at the University of the West Indies, Barbados, lecturing and conducting research in biochemistry, molecular biology, and plant biotechnology. He has published extensively in these areas and is a named inventor on two U.S. patents in plant biotechnology. |
