Ashok is President and CEO of Bristlecone, a recognized leader in providing consulting and systems integration solutions in the area of supply chain management.Ashok Santhanam was until recently Senior Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations for Epiphany (recently acquired by SSA Global, Inc.), responsible for worldwide sales, professional services, customer training and education. Ashok has more than 20 years of business, sales and executive management experience in the technology industry. Prior to Epiphany, Ashok ran a successful private management consulting firm helping technology companies manage offshore initiatives, complex services offerings and business process outsourcing. Prior to that, Ashok was the founder of Inventa, a successful systems integration company focused on providing complex, business-to-business integration solutions with a fixed price, fixed time business model. From its founding in 1993, he served as its President and CEO through 1998. From 1999 onwards, he served as Inventa's Chairman until 2001, when he stepped down from an active role in the company. Under Ashok's leadership, Inventa attracted and served several industry leading clients, including ADP, Agilent, Charles Schwab, Citigroup, Deutsche Bank, Fujitsu, GE and Siemens, raised capital from premier venture capital firms and grew revenues to $45 million in 2000.Prior to Inventa, Ashok founded and led Ventura Data Systems, a profitable professional services firm focused on providing services for software product development to various clients in Silicon Valley using an offshore delivery model. Earlier, Ashok was a senior executive with Gould Inc., a Fortune 500 high technology company. During his career at Gould, he held several marketing and operations management functions, and most recently headed Operations for a $100 million-plus division.Ashok received an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School. He also holds a Bachelor of Technology degree from the Indian Institute of Technology in Madras, India. |
