With more than 20 years in the financial services industry, Ary Velasco is Senior Vice President, Wealth Management Director for Lydian Bank & Trust's Miami-Dade regional office. In this role he advises high net worth clients on asset allocation and wealth preservation.
Prior to joining Lydian, Mr. Velasco served as Vice President, Wealth Strategies Group for Northern Trust for five years. For the last two years, Velasco was among their top 10 wealth management producers in the state, and was the top producer in Miami-Dade County two years in a row. Velasco has a diverse background serving both local and international institutional and private high net worth clients.
An active community leader, Mr. Velasco is a Director of Ambassadors of Mercy Hospital Foundation, a board member of the Central America-United States Chamber of Commerce, and a Director on the South Florida Golf Foundation, and it's supporting non-profit organization to the PGA Tour's World Golf Championship at Doral. He is also on the advisory board of the University of Miami Gift and Estate Office and is active with the Alumni Association of Christopher Columbus High School. A Miami resident, Velasco received his undergraduate and MBA degrees from Florida International University.
