Mr. Pacheco is vice chair of Guzman & Co., one of the nation's leading investment banks, with headquarters in Miami, Florida and offices in New Jersey and Illinois. He is a former senior managing director at Bear Stearns in New York, New York, a former chairman of the Security Traders Association, and a past president of the Security Traders Association of New York. He was the founder, president, and chief executive officer of Strike Technologies, the fourth-largest electronic communications network/alternative trading system until its merger with an affiliate of Sunguard Data. In addition, he was head of several equity trading and institutional sales desks, including Bear Stearns and Cantor Fitzgerald. Currently, Mr. Pacheco serves on the executive advisory committee of the Security Traders Association and the board of directors for 5th Market, Inc., a company focused on building transaction hubs in markets with complex underlying trading methodologies. He is a member of the board of directors for JAYWALK.COM, a web accessible provider of independent investment research, chairman of the One-to-One Foundation and the Wall Street Charity Fund, and is on the board of trustees of Landmark College in Putney, Vermont. |
