An accomplished Senior Executive in the pharmaceutical industry, Mr. Przybyl joined Akorn in August of 2002 as its Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Mr. Przybyl was named the company’s President & Chief Executive Officer in February of 2003.
Mr. Przybyl is currently responsible for leading the company in the development and execution of Akorn’s aggressive growth strategy in becoming an even larger player in the US Pharmaceutical Market.
Prior to joining Akorn, Mr. Przybyl led several other medical device companies including:
Hearing Innovations (President & Chief Executive Officer)
Bioject Inc. (President & Chief Operating Officer)
Additionally, Mr. Przybyl has had an extensive, successful career in both the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. Mr. Przybyl has held numerous other Senior Sales & Marketing positions with companies such as Lyphomed (now American Pharmaceutical Partners), International Medication Systems Inc.
