Mr. Money has more than 30 years of management and engineering experience in the defense electronics industry and intelligence community. He has extensive experience in the design and development of intelligence collection analysis capabilities and airborne tactical reconnaissance systems. He was President of ESL Inc., a subsidiary of TRW. Mr. Money has served as assistant secretary of defense for command, control, communications and intelligence and as assistant secretary of the air force for research, development and acquisition. Prior to his Senate confirmation, Mr. Money served as the senior civilian official, office of the ASD (C31) and he also served as the department of defense CIO. He is also the former CIO for the Air Force. Since leaving the Pentagon, Mr. Money has become a member of various USG advisory boards, panels and commissions as well as public and private corporation boards of directors. He received a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from San Jose State University and an M.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Santa Clara. |
