Born on August 10 1946. Graduated in Civil Engineering from Fundação Universidade de Minas Gerais. He joined Bradesco in May 1977. He held all positions of the hierarchical scale of a bank. In July 1988 he was elected as Department Director in March 1998 as Associate Executive Officer and in March 1999 as Managing Director position currently held. He is member of the Managing Body of Fundação Bradesco and of the Board of Directors of Foundation Institute for Digestive System and Nutrition Diseases (FIMADEN). He worked as an engineer of Bradesco S.A. Crédito Imobiliário Director of Digilab Laboratório Digital Ltda.; Member of the Board of Directors of Matel Tecnologia de Telenformática S.A.
