Anthony M. Garcia joined HealthMarkets, then UICI, in May 2004 and was appointed President, UGA-Association Field Services (a division of the MEGA Life and Health Insurance Company). In September 2005, Mr. Garcia was appointed President, HealthMarkets Administrative Services Group. He currently serves as Vice President of The MEGA Life and Health Insurance Company, Mid-West National Life Insurance Company of Tennessee based in Texas and the Chesapeake Life Insurance Company. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Garcia served in senior Strategy, Operations and General Management positions at Household International/HSBC since 1999. From 1988-1999, Mr. Garcia held various management positions at the Allstate Insurance Company, including Assistant Vice President-Personal Lines. Mr. Garcia received a B.B.A. in Finance from Delta State University and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He currently serves as Executive Vice President of Sales for the Agency Marketing Group, the company's sales division, and is responsible for sales performance of Cornerstone America. |
