Anshu Jain was appointed to the board on 1 July 2003. He is managing director and head of global markets at Deutsche Bank AG and member of the group executive committee. Previously he was a managing director with Merrill Lynch in New York.
He obtained a Bachelor of Arts (with Honours) in economics from Delhi University in 1983 and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Massachusetts in 1985.
