Annette North, Esq., joined us in November 2000 as our Corporate Counsel and was appointed Vice President, Legal Affairs in January 2004. Prior to joining us, she was Senior Director of Operations and Legal at Axys Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a small molecule drug discovery company, from 1998 to 1999 and Legal Counsel and Director of Legal Affairs at Sequana Therapeutics, Inc., a biotechnology company, from 1995 to 1998. From 1991 to 1994, Annette was employed by Nabarro Nathanson plc, a national law firm in London, England, focusing primarily on commercial litigation, and from 1989 to 1990 she worked at Corrs, Chambers, Westgarth, a national law firm in Melbourne, Australia. She is a member of the State Bar of California, a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales and a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria, Australia. Annette received both her Bachelor of Commerce and her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Melbourne, Australia. |
