Anna Rizzo is a Principal with Loeb & Troper and has more than seventeen years of experience in providing audit and health care consulting services to various health care organizations. Ms. Rizzo has assisted clients in preparation of rate appeals and cost reports to third-party reimbursement agencies. She has assisted a number of health care facilities in obtaining additional Medicaid reimbursement through various appeal mechanisms. In recent years, Ms. Rizzo has also concentrated on addressing many of the financial aspects (including business plan development, budget preparation and financing) of both establishment and renovation of capital projects, including nursing facilities, ambulatory care facilities and assisted living projects. Ms. Rizzo has extensive experience performing operational audits with efficiency of operation and cost reduction as the objectives, as well as formulating operational and cash flow forecasts as part of financial feasibility studies. With the advent of the new case mix reimbursement system, Ms. Rizzo has been actively involved in providing case mix financial reimbursement services to clients which include development of reimbursement projections and strategies, performance of staffing analyses, and completing cost analyses to properly identify actual facility costs related to patient care.Among Ms. Rizzo's professional memberships is the Health Facilities Management Association (HFMA), for which she has served on its Long Term Care Committee.
