Ann Acker is a partner in the Special Litigation, Bankruptcy and Workout Group of Chapman and Cutler LLP, with special emphasis on that Group’s litigation and bankruptcy practice. Before joining the firm, Ms. Acker was Assistant Corporation Counsel for City of Chicago. Ms. Acker has been involved in major Chapter 11 cases and complex civil litigation at the trial and appellate level throughout the United States. Matters in which she has represented banks, bank groups, institutional investors, corporate trustees, bondholders or other financial creditors in litigation and bankruptcy have led to numerous speaking engagements. Among the groups she has addressed are The Practising Law Institute, the National Association of Bond Lawyers, the Bank Administration Institute and the Midwest/Midsouth Securities Law Conference.
