Dr. Kopf-Sill brings twenty years of experience in developing research and diagnostic products. Prior to joining CellPoint Diagnostics, she was Sr.Vice President of Product Development and Operations at NuGEN Technologies where she was responsible for the development of reagent kit products using an innovative nucleic acid amplification technology. Formerly, she was Vice President of New Products at Caliper Technologies where she successfully led the development of new assays and microfluidics products and managed the technical development in strategic collaborations. In addition, Dr. Kopf-Sill has held engineering development and product management positions at Abaxis and Molecular Devices. For the previous three years, she has served on the board of directors and in 2006 as the President of the Association for Laboratory Automation. She is an inventor on more than 70 microfluidics and diagnostic patents. Dr. Kopf-Sill earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University and a B.S. from the University of Virginia in Chemical Engineering. |
