Andy is Vice President of Engineering & Operations. He is responsible for the technical and management oversight for the design, fabrication, and testing for all SSG systems developed at the Wilmington facility. His current staff of approximately 120 employees includes engineering (Optical, Mechanical, and Electrical), operations, quality assurance, optics manufacturing, ceramics manufacturing, and procurement. He has had direct involvement in the fabrication of optical systems for space applications and has been Program Manager/Project Engineer on multiple flight systems for DOD and NASA. He joined SSG in 1986 after working at Honeywell Electro-Optics in Lexington, Massachusetts. Andy holds a B.S. in Optical Engineering from the University of Rochester and an M.S. in Engineering Management from the University of Massachusetts. |
