Andrew A. McElwee Jr. is chief operating officer, Chubb Personal Insurance, and executive vice president and managing director, Chubb & Son. He assumed his current responsibilities as chief operating officer of Chubb Personal Insurance in June 2002.
Mr. McElwee joined Chubb in 1997 as senior vice president, mergers and acquisitions. He served as the company's international field operations manager from 2000-2002. Mr. McElwee was previously an executive vice president with Bellemead Development Corporation and prior to that he was employed by Morgan Stanley & Co. Incorporated and Dewey Ballantine LLP.
Mr. McElwee graduated magna cum laude from Davidson College in 1977 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He has a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Virginia School of Law. |
