Andy Lopez is an associate in the firm’s Business Controversies Group. Mr. Lopez focuses his practice on commercial litigation and bankruptcy matters. In law school, Mr. Lopez was inducted into the Order of the Barristers and as a member of his law school's National Trial Team, he earned a first place in the Association of Trial Lawyers of America Regional Trial Competition in 2006. He was also a member of The Business Lawyer law journal and member of the Moot Court Board. Prior to joining Linowes and Blocher, Mr. Lopez was a law clerk with Karp, Frosh, Lapidus, Wigodsky & Norwind, P.A. In addition, he was a judicial intern with the Honorable Paul L. Friedman of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and also served as an intern in the White House.
