Andrea has spent the last 20 years in finance and management. For the last 8 she acted as the President of Franz Associates, a Boston-area consulting firm providing general management and strategic financial and systems solutions. In this role, Andrea directed all aspects of the consulting firm serving corporate clients in Biotechnology, Information Technology, Manufacturing, Environmental and Consulting Firms, Software Development and others.
Before founding Franz Associates, Andrea was Vice President/CFO of Environmental Science Services, Inc., a privately-held regional environmental engineering firm. A member of the senior management team, she established the company's systems and controls and directed all activities of the finance, information systems and human resources functions. During her tenure, the company grew from a 25-person consulting company to over 75 employees.
Prior to this, Andrea held roles at Groundwater Technologies, Inc, Tyco Laboratories, and Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP).
Ms. Franz graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and obtained her certification (CPA) in 1987 from the state of Maine. |
