Mr. Berard was Chairman of the board of directors of the National Bank of Canada from 1990 to 2004. During that time, he has held various positions in a number of key sectors within the National Bank of Canada, including that of Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer from July 1989 to March 2002. Mr. Berard serves on the board of directors of the following public companies: BCE Inc., BMTC Group Inc., Bombardier Inc., Canam Manac Group Inc., Falconbridge Ltd, Saputo Inc., Arbec Forest Products Inc. and TransForce Income Fund. Mr. Berard serves as a member of the Company’s Corporate Governance and Human Resources committee. |
