Ms. Tenzer has been a Shareholder in Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck's Denver office since 1997 and is chair of the Real Estate Finance group. She practices in real estate and finance with a focus on lending, representing investment banks, insurance companies, private equity firms and institutional investors, as well as borrowers with regards to permanent, floating and mezzanine loans secured by real estate and other collateral. Regarding single and multi-property commercial mortgage loans and credit facilities, Ms. Tenzer has served as counsel to many high-profile companies, including AIG Global Investment Corp., SunAmerica Life Insurance Company, Fortress Investment Corp., Natixis Real Estate Capital, RBS Greenwich Capital and Credit Suisse. Her work for these clients has involved securing numerous multi-million dollar commercial fixed (floating rate) mortgage loans both for the capital securitization markets and for the clients' personal portfolios, securing commercial real estate including hotels, resorts, commercial and residential apartment complexes located throughout the United States. Ms. Tenzer, in addition to commercial lending, structured finance transactions, including both the making of, or sale and purchase of, A/B notes, mezzanine loans and preferred equity financings. She has also served as counsel to large real estate borrowers, including Dividend Capital Total Realty Trust and KSL Capital Partners in connection with their $200-$600 million in acquisition loans. |
