A member of the CTPartners Technology, Media and Telecommunications Practice, Alvin has helped clients recruit individuals and build global teams in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, and Switzerland. He has completed assignments for CEOs, CFOs, CIOs, Country Managers, regional and division vice presidents, and other roles with significant impact on development in Asia Pacific. Previously Alvin was a founding member of a Singapore-based executive search firm serving global clients in the technology, telecommunications and electronics industries. Charged with establishing the firm’s presence in China, Alvin opened the first office in Bejing in 2002. Its success led to subsequent offices in Dalian and Shanghai in 2003. Alvin became Managing Consultant of China in 2004.Alvin began his search career with a FTSE-listed international executive search firm, where he was a member of the company’s Software & Services Practice. Alvin’s career includes being Recruitment Manager for RGM International Pte. Ltd., a multi-billion dollar Asia conglomerate in the world’s rapidly growing resources sector. He was responsible for strategically developing teams for existing operations and international expansions for the group’s pulp and paper business. He entered the corporate world as a bank officer in the Corporate Real Estate Division of Deutsche Bank AG, Singapore. Alvin earned a bachelor’s degree from London’s City University Business School. He is fluent in Mandarin and English. Alvin is based in the firm’s Singapore office. |
