Alison C. Tanner was named SVP, Corporate Development of eDiets.com in November 2006. Previously she had served as Chief Strategist. Tanner is responsible for the Company's strategic planning, new business line development, mergers and acquisitions and strategic alliances. Previously she was Director of Investor Relations and Financial Media Relations at Sensormatic Electronics Corporation, a NYSE-listed global supplier of electronic security and surveillance products.
Tanner, a Chartered Financial Analyst and a specialist in technology-driven businesses, was an analyst and portfolio manager for Granite Capital, LP, Fred Alger Management and Salomon Brothers, Inc. from the mid- 1980s to the mid-1990s. Before embarking on a business career she was a professional classical musician. |
