Alexander R.Wynaendts (1960 Dutch nationality) started his career with ABN AMRO in 1984 and had several assignments in asset management (Amsterdam) and corporate finance (London).
In 1997 he joined AEGON’s Group Business Development department and was promoted to executive vice-president and head of Group Business Development in May 1998. In 2003 he was appointed a member of the Executive Board of AEGON N.V. and he was named COO in 2007.
