Alex was elected to the Nabors Board in 2004. He is Chairman and CEO of Pamplona Capital Management. Prior to founding Pamplona, Mr. Knaster served as CEO of Alfa Bank from 1998 until 2004 and as General Director of Sidanco from 2002 until 2003. Mr. Knaster has served as President and CEO of Credit Suisse First Boston (Russia and CIS) from 1995 until 1998. From 1993 until 1995, he worked as Managing Director at Bankers Trust Company. From 1985 until 1993, Mr. Knaster worked in various capacities at Simmons and Company International. Mr. Knaster is currently a director of TNK-BP and of several Alfa Group companies. Mr. Knaster served as a Director of Golden Telecom Inc. (NASDAQ) from 1999 until 2001. Mr. Knaster is a Chartered Financial Analyst. |
