Alex Unterkoefler leads the New York practice and the Regulatory and Claims Services group for SMART. His primary client focus is serving the insurance and reinsurance industries. Alex manages various complex insurance and reinsurance projects and initiatives. He has lead numerous large insurance and reinsurance consulting engagements including pre and post transactions processing and accounting; litigation support; forensic inspections covering claims and accounting issues, inspections of Ceding companies, MGA's, and TPA's; and financial and operational process enhancement. Alex has led seminars on Sarbanes-Oxley updates, Risk Focus Surveillance Framework and Medicare cost reporting for Long-Term Care providers. Alex also has experience providing services to the health care, manufacturing and investing industries. |
