Alec Maguire hails from a long line of pilots. His grandfather, Robert Maguire, Jr., was an Alaska Airlines pilot and World War II veteran dubbed The Irish Moses for his rescue missions flying Jewish refugees from Yemen to the newly established state of Israel. Alec himself began flying in the early 90s. Shortly thereafter, he became one of the youngest pilots in the world to receive a Citation 500 series type rating. Alec brings a unique combination of aviation industry and high-end hospitality experience to Maguire Aviation. He has flown as a commercially-rated pilot for over a decade, and has worked as an aviation consultant. In addition, Alec graduated from the prestigious Cordon Bleu culinary institute in 2003, and obtained significant back-of-house management, hospitality and service experience working in the foodservice industry.Alec is inspired by the excitement of interacting with a wide variety of people, and doing whatever he can to provide a service experience that is not only memorable, but also exceptional. |
