Alan White is Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Outrigger Enterprises Group.
Mr. White is responsible for the strategic development and implementation of all information technology needs for Outrigger.
Mr. White brings to Outrigger over 20 years of senior management experience in the lodging and travel software and services industries. Before joining Outrigger, he served as the Senior Vice President and Managing Director for Dallas-based Pegasus Solutions. Previously, he was Senior Vice President for System Development and Management Services with REZsolutions, Inc., which was ultimately acquired by Pegasus. Mr. White also spent time with ENCORE System, Inc., where he served in several management positions, lastly as Senior Vice President of Development, quality assurance and applications support. He has also held various senior management positions with several luxury hotel and resort properties.
In 1995, Mr. White was appointed one of 13 industry-wide members of the Technologies Task Force for the White House Conference on Travel and Tourism. He was a founding member of the Hotel Technology Next Generation (HTNG) industry group in June 2002 to advance system integration technologies. He also serves on the CIO Council of Hawaii, representing the hospitality technologies sector.
Mr. White holds a bachelor's degree in political science and political economy from Providence College and the Universitat Freiburg, Switzerland. He also earned his graduate degree in public and international affairs at George Washington University. |
