As Vice President of UNIX Sales for the Americas for The SCO Group, Alan Raymond is responsible for guiding all sales activities in the United States, Canada and Latin America. This includes management of SCO's channel accounts, corporate accounts, and veritcal solution providers.
Raymond has 16 years of experience in sales and sales management. Prior to joining The SCO Group, Raymond was involved in the healthcare field as a Sales Manager for Baxter Healthcare, based in Chicago, Illinois, with a technical sales focus in hospital labs. Additionally, he worked as a Director of Sales for Allegiance Healthcare, also based in Chicago, and managed sales teams responsible for medical/surgical equipment and supply sales to major hospital chains throughout the midwest.
Raymond has demonstrated an ability to lead, manage, and motivate diverse sales teams. His focus has includes meeting revenue goals, attaining sales targets, and working closely with marketing to ensure sales and marketing drive company success.
