Alan is Vice President of Construction for Weingarten Realty Investors. He is responsible for all facets Engineering and Construction of all WRI's projects including shopping centers warehouses and other projects undertaken by the Company. Additionally he is responsible for the engineering environmental and construction due diligence activities for all acquisitions.
Alan joined WRI in August 2001. He was named Vice President in October 2001.
He began his professional career as Project Manager for the Rouse Company and subsequently served as Vice President of Development for Prime Retail in which he was responsible for the development and construction of over 1.5 million square feet of Outlet Retail space throughout the United States.
He earned his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Miami in Coral Gables Florida.
Alan is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and formerly served on the Program Committee for Centerbuild within the ICSC organization. |
