J. Alan Reid, Jr. is currently the President of Forward Management, LLC. Forward Management offers sophisticated retail investors access to the intelligence and experience of uniquely qualified portfolio managers. Mr. Reid is also President of ReFlow Management Co., LLC, a service provider that helps mutual funds meet their short-term liquidity needs. Previously, Mr. Reid was Principal of eBusiness Development at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, where he designed and implemented Morgan Stanley’s aggregation strategy. Prior to that, Mr. Reid was Senior Vice President, Director of Business Delivery of Morgan Stanley Dean Witter Online, where he designed and built the firms’ Call Centers, Product Delivery, Human Resources, and Mutual Fund Supermarket. Prior to Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, Mr. Reid was Executive Vice President & Treasurer of Forward Funds Inc., where he helped to found this innovative fund company. He has 16 years of industry experience including regional management roles at Dean Witter Investment Consulting Services, Dean Witter Unit Investment Trust, John Nuveen & Co., and Bank of America Investment Services. Alan holds a BS in Business Administration from Menlo College, where he was awarded The John D. Russell Award for leadership, character, and service. |
