Mr. Johnson is a cable industry veteran with a multidisciplinary background and a track record of innovation in broadband, in fiber optics and in cable system engineering. Mr. Johnson’s is responsible for Vyyo’s 3 GHz Spectrum Overlay products for the residential market.
Prior to joining Vyyo, Mr. Johnson was senior vice-president at Ipitek, Inc and held senior management functions at PowerWAN, Inc. and Synchronous Group. He was director of technology with Cablevision Systems where he was responsible for engineering and implementing the cable industry’s first high-speed data and voice network. Mr. Johnson also served 10 years with the United States Air Force, twice earning the Meritorious Service Medal for exceptional accomplishments within the Air Force Communications Command. |
