Abhilash M. Raval is a partner in Milbank's Financial Restructuring Group and is based in the New York Office. He has significant experience in representing creditors and other stakeholders in a wide variety of reorganization cases and out-of-court workouts. Additionally, Mr. Raval has extensive experience in representing private equity funds and hedge funds in all aspects of acquiring control positions in financially distressed companies, whether through a chapter 11 process or otherwise. Mr. Raval's expertise covers a broad range of industries, including, among others, energy, medical services, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, health care, technology, manufacturing, media, telecommunications, project finance, and consumer products. Mr. Raval also regularly represents acquirers in distressed and chapter 11 M&A transactions, lenders and bondholders in issuer sponsored de-leveraging transactions and prospective lenders in structuring high risk "rescue financings" and chapter 11 "DIP" and "Exit" financings.
Mr. Raval brings a multi-disciplinary approach to each of his engagements, working across various legal disciplines to implement solutions satisfying his client's business and legal imperatives in a timely and practical manner.
