He is Managing Director at General Atlantic Partners, LLC, a worldwide private equity firm, where he has been working since 2002. He currently serves as a Director on the board of Jubilant Organosys Ltd. and Geometric Software Solutions. Prior to joining General Atlantic Partners in 2002, Mr. Havaldar was the Co-Founder of Connect Capital; he was also a partner at Draper International. Earlier, he spent twelve years in both the hardware and software industries in the U.S., Europe and Asia. He also held various technical and marketing positions at Tata Unisys, besides, serving from 1994 to 1995 as Country Manager, Financial Services, for HCL-Hewlett Packard. Mr. Havaldar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Bombay and a Master’s in Management degree from the Sloan Fellow program at the London Business School. |
