Aaron Eaton brings to Gorman Health Group a variety of clinical and business skill sets in the areas of Managed Care and Medicare. His primary specializations include formulary management, benefit design, utilization management, and data and reporting for the Medicare Part D drug benefit. Prior to joining GHG, Aaron was the Acting Director of the Division of Finance and Operations for the Medicare Drug Benefit Group at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS), where he directed the formulary, Part D benefit, Part D marketing, and licensure and solvency teams through the first year of the benefit, while preparing for year two of the benefit. Aaron also served as the formulary team leader at CMS, where he was responsible for building and implementing the internal and external processes associated with Part D formularies. In addition, he provided input into the Part D regulations and other sub-regulatory guidance from a managed care pharmacy perspective. Prior to his term at CMS, Aaron was Manager, Clinical Product Development at Caremark/AdvancePCS, where he was responsible for the development and implementation of products and services addressing health improvement, pharmacotherapy optimization, patient support, and provider education. Aaron received his Pharm.D. from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. He completed his pharmacy residency at AdvancePCS in Hunt Valley, MD. |
