The group's principal activity is the processing of crude oil into petrochemical products for sale. Other activities include investment management; trading in, import and export of petrochemical products; import and export of equipment and production of vinyl acetate, polypropylene compound and acrylic fibre products. Specific products of the group are petroleum, resins and plastics, synthetic fibres, intermediate petrochemicals and others. Petroleum products has crude oil distillation facilities used to produce vacuum and atmospheric gas oils used as feedstocks of the group's downstream processing facilities. Resins and plastics produce primarily polyester chips, low density polyethylene resins films, polypropylene resins and pva granules. Synthetic fibres produces primarily polyester and acrylic fibres primarily used in the textile and apparel industries. Intermediate petrochemicals produces ethylene and benzene. The group's operations are carried out in prc.
