The group's principal activity is to acquire, develop, explore, produce and sell natural gas, crude oil and natural gas liquid. It is also engaged in the gathering, processing and transmission of natural gas. The group pursues business through the acquisition and development of oil and gas mineral leases, gas gathering systems and producing natural gas and crude oil properties. It currently has an interest in natural gas and crude oil mineral leases, a pipeline transmission system, gas gathering and processing facilities and wells producing hydrocarbons that are located principally in the states of Michigan, Wyoming, Montana and Indiana as well as in Canada. The group holds and owns 5,100 producing wells and operates 41% of these wells.
