The group's principal activities are to provide packaging products for the storage, transportation and automated handling of semiconductor devices and other electronic components. The products are designed to interface with automated handling equipment used in the production and testing of semiconductor and electronic products. Products include matrix and disk drive trays, carrier tapes, and reels, shipping tubes, lead frame boxes and interleaves used in the storage and transportation of lead frames. In addition, it collects and sells recycled matrix trays using the name 'semicycle'. Customers include semiconductor companies such as Texas instruments, st microelectronics, philips and motorola, disk drive manufacturers such as seagate, subcontract assembly and test companies such as asat, stats and ase. The group has operations in the United States, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, the peoples' republic of China, Philippines, Italy, Japan and South Korea.
