The group's principal activities are to provide optical coatings, filters, faceplates and lighting wedges, which improve display readability for electronic instruments used primarily in aircraft. This includes application of different types of anti-reflection coatings, transparent conductive coatings and other optical coatings. The group's products are designed to enable pilots to read aircraft instruments in direct sunlight or at night or in covert situations using appropriate night vision filters. It also provides full glass cutting, grinding and painting operations which augment its optical coating capabilities. The group conducts its business through its wholly owned subsidiary, o & s research, inc.
