The group's principal activity is to provide specialty insurance products and services. The group operates in three segments: manufactured housing insurance, other insurance and transportation. Manufactured housing insurance includes physical damage insurance and related coverage for manufactured homes. Other insurance products include site-built dwelling, collateral protection, motorsport and watercraft insurance, as well as manufactured housing park and dealer insurance. Transportation segment provides charter barges and broker freight for the movement of dry bulk commodities such as petroleum coke, ores and barite primarily on the lower Mississippi river and its tributaries. The group's specialty insurance operations are conducted through American modern insurance group and transportation business through m/g transport services, inc. The group operates solely in the domestic market.
