The group's principal activities are to design, manufacture and market analog, mixed-signal and discrete semiconductors. Products include individual components as well as complete circuit solutions that provide battery optimization, reduce size or protect circuits. These products manage and regulate power, protect against transient voltage spikes and transmit, receive and amplify signals. The group markets its products through domestic electronic component sales representatives, direct sales offices and 26 overseas sales representatives to original equipment and serves the satellite, telecommunications, computer and peripherals, military, aerospace, industrial, commercial and medical markets. The group has international operations in Thailand, the Philippines, Taiwan, Ireland, and China. Customers include boeing, compaq, dell, lockheed martin, guidant/cardiac pace makers, seagate technology, zenitron corporation, raytheon systems, bae systems, and medtronics.
